The event was characterized by new members of the Board signing code of ethics and taking oath of secrecy.
The induction is also carried out to prepare the new members on their new roles as members of the Board. This helps them understand what pertains governance and leadership of the company.

Board inauguration is a very important event to the company as it gives the new board opportunity to execute their mandate as stated in the constitution of Kenya and as guided by the water sector regulator Water Sector Regulatory Board(WASREB). During the event, board members conducts the following businesses;
1.Election of Board chairperson
2.Signing of Code of Ethics
3.Administration of Oath of Secrecy
4.Constituting board committees among others

Good governance and effective management is paramount in any company that endeavors to post good results in service delivery. In the water sector, this means a lot as it enables WSPs to deliver a customer centered service by ensuring that company adheres to all the regulations put in place in the Kenyan constitution as well as guidelines by regulator(WASREB). EMBEWASCO as a company, has over the years committed to adhering to all regulations and guidelines set in a bid to serve its customers with integrity and ethically acceptable practices, efficiency and good leadership. The management of EMBEWASCO not only regularly arranges and facilitates trainings and workshop for both directors and management for induction into their new roles and responsibilities, but also update the existing directors and management on the new policies and emerging issues in the water sector.

TECHNICAL TEAM TRAINING
Our technical team undergoes regular training on new technology and emerging challenges in their daily filed works. These trainings helps them in up-scaling the operations and mimimize the time spent on attending our customer’s needs. This has resulted to a quicker and effective response to emergencies on their daily duties. The team of highly skilled trainers drawn from external and internal provides a much needed capacity building in a bid to ensure company responds urgently and effectively to its service to consumers.It is the company’s policy to ensure employees are taken through regular trainings in order to better service delivery to the customers.
NEW TECHNOLOGY
EMBEWASCO company highly embraces the advancement in the new digital era and always keeps up to speed with the changing technology. In line with modern world and the speed at which technology is changing the way things are done across the globe, EMBEWASCO company has continually welcomed these changes and adjusted accordingly. In 2021, the company purchased a new system called (MAJISOFT) a new technology by Earth view system developers to enable the company speed its operations and service delivery to the consumers. In this regard, the company in collaboration with Earth View Developers launched a two weeks training to all staff inclusive of management and technical team. This gave them an opportunity to interact with the new technology and its application.
The company is determined to make its operation easier and quicker for all the staffs and achieve customer satisfaction which is the key reasons for the new technology. The benefits of the new technology are massive and will eradicate and manage customer complaints, errors in billing,time lost and generate different reports on a real time basis to enable management make an informed decisions. At EMBEWASCO, customer comes first and thus the system was designed with customer in mind.
