Embewasco(Embu Mbeere Water & Sanitation company) is a company registered under WSP Embu county and regulated by WASREB. It is mandated to providing safe and reliable water to the residents of Siakago, Ena and Ishiara water service schemes.
We strive to ensure that we achieve a constant water connectivity and supply within our three schemes. Our services are customer centered and are executed on a real time basis. Our main office is located at Siakago town along Embu Runyenjes road near Jua kali association buildings.
OUR SOURCES
The company enjoys a very stable, reliable and accessible water sources drawn from Ena river(Gikuuri) and Thucii river in Ishiara. The rivers that feeds EMBEWASCO customers are safe, well secured and maintained.
OUR TREATMENT PLANT
The company has set a well structured and safe treatment plant to ensure our consumers access clean and safe water. It is the company’s health policy to ensure that all water that is drawn from the source is put through a rigorous process for cleaning and purification. The facilities are on a full time surveillance for quality assurance.Our company values the health of its customers and therefore they come first when it comes to safety of our products.
OUR STORAGE FACILITIES
EMBEWASCO has invested heavily on high capacity storage tanks carrying over 2,655m3 cubic meters of water. This is in line with its policy to ensuring that every consumer gets a no-interrupted supply of this precious commodity. Our tanks are continuously cleaned and managed to maintain high standard of hygiene. This has built a solid customer confidence in consuming our water services.
OUR WATER SERVICE POINTS
To ensure cooperate social responsibility, we have stationed different water service points(water kiosks) where we supply water to needy customers at a subsidized price. This is to cement our social responsibility with the community within our surroundings. The company intends to invest more of these initiatives to meet its cooperate social obligations.
